Air Fryer Italian Sausage and Peppers

Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 6 Italian sausages
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 white or yellow onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper
  • 6 steak rolls

Instructions

  • Slice the peppers and onions into thin slices and place in a large mixing bowl.
  • Pour in the olive oil and add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Toss the olive oil with the peppers and onions until evenly coated.
  • Spread the peppers and onions over the bottom of the air fryer basket, forming an even layer where they are not fully stacked on each other.
  • Place the sausage in the air fryer basket so they are not touching.
  • Set your air fryer to 400 degrees and to cook for 15 minutes. At the halfway mark, flip the sausages.
  • Remove the basket and place peppers and onions into steak rolls. Place a single sausage in each roll on top of the peppers and onions.
  • Serve with your favorite condiments and sides.
